Criteria Enters 2021 with Launch of Cognify and Workplace Safety Profile Assessments for the North American Market
The leading provider of pre-employment assessments to offer two new scientifically-backed tests to help companies select ideal candidates in this age of hiring.
LOS ANGELES, CA – January 19, 2021 — Los Angeles-based Criteria, a market-leading SaaS-based people analytics platform, unveiled today two new assessments, Cognify and Workplace Safety Profile (WSP) assessments to its customers in the North American market. The assessments were created by Revelian, an Australian-based leader in emotional intelligence and game-based talent assessments. Criteria acquired Revelian in March of 2020 and is now adding these assessments to its portfolio of scientifically validated assessments across multiple dimensions including aptitude, personality, emotional intelligence, and skills.
Cognify is an award-winning game-based assessment that measures a candidate’s cognitive aptitude, one of the best predictors of job performance for a wide variety of jobs. The assessment features three highly engaging and interactive games that measure a candidate’s ability to solve problems, work with numbers, and correctly interpret and edit written text. Cognify combines rigorous validation and assessment science with an emphasis on an engaging brand-positive candidate experience.
WSP is a risk assessment that measures a candidate’s attitude towards safety and evaluates how likely they might be involved in accidents or cause injury to themselves or others at work. This assessment is primarily used for roles where safety behavior is an important factor: manufacturing, construction, mining, transportation/logistics, and healthcare industries.
“Cognify will be an ideal addition to our current suite of aptitude tests, since research shows that cognitive aptitude is one of the most accurate predictors of job success: twice as predictive as job interviews, three times as predictive as experience and four times as predictive as education,” says Josh Millet, Founder & CEO of Criteria. “WSP will round out our risk assessments, and will be a nice complement to our Workplace Productivity Profile, which focuses on integrity and work ethic.”
Criteria will continue to integrate and strengthen the combined organization’s assessment offerings and plans to make its SaaS-based platform available to Revelian’s customer base of over 2,000 employers globally in Q1 2021.
